Since January 2025, Connect360 has been walking alongside Migrants with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) across the Tees Valley. Below are a few real stories from our participants, which we'll add to as our vital work continues.

“I was moving out of my flat and my landlord was threatening legal action over the deposit. They insisted I had signed a two year contract and so had to continue paying rent even after I had moved out. Connect360 helped me understand my rights, wrote a letter on my behalf and guided me through the process. I avoided a costly dispute and moved on peacefully.”
“I’m a qualified accountant from overseas. I spent nine months applying for jobs in the UK with no success. Connect360 reviewed my CV, coached me for interviews and linked me to the right networks. Today I’m employed in the finance department of a local NHS Trust.”
Summer 2025, 6 young adults supported by Connect360 started apprenticeships, summer jobs and work placements with local employers. This allowed them to gain their first UK work experience and the confidence to move forward.
Our OISC-accredited Immigration Adviser has also provided vital signposting for people facing Certificate of Sponsorship cancellations or other complex Home Office issues — ensuring they understand their options and can respond appropriately.
